Organic Hair Gel

Your ingredient is Aloe Vera Gel. Yes, it's that simple. This amazing gel will not make your hair stand up like an 80's punk rocker, but it will define your waves, give body, boost a guy's hair and stave off the frizz.

How it's Good for You

As explained in our recent post, Aloe Vera is loaded with vitamins, balances the pH in our hair and improves elasticity. To improve hair, you have to improve your scalp and aloe vera repairs the skin cells to generate new cell growth.

How to Use

Seems weird to give directions for hair gel, but here are some tricks of the trade for working with this natural product that may not be obvious. If not stated below, simply use it as you would your normal hair gel, mousse or styling spritz.

Define waves - spread gel in your hands (about the size in the photo) and scrunge your wet hair. Re-apply for medium to long hair. Let hair dry or blow dry. It does work best if you let the gel set in your hair about 10 minutes before blow dry.

Anti-frizz - if straightening your hair, spread gel on your hands and wipe down your wet hair. Re-apply for medium to long hair. Let hair dry or blow dry. It does work best if you let the gel set in your hair about 10 minutes before blow dry. If hair is already dry and you are trying to straighten your hair, spread gel on your hands (half the size of the amount shown) and gentle wipe hair. Brush gel in and let dry naturally, then brush.

It's Cheap

About $7.50 will get you 32 ounces. Be sure to purchase a good quality Aloe Vera Gel, like Mountain Rose Herbs or Lily of the Desert and refrigerate after it's opened to keep it fresh. The bottles are a little big, so you may want to put some in a smaller bottle so you can quickly grab it in the morning.
